Low and behold, the flu is back. After every booger that landed on monetized testing strips worldwide was deemed “Covid” for 4 years (in order to push a staunch political agenda even the most conspiratorial of people didn’t see coming), the flu has slowly but surely made it’s way back onto the scene.
The flu represents one of the pharmaceutical industry’s most effective marketing tactics considering the flu vaccine generates upwards of $5 billion/yr, according to The National Institutes of Health.
Coincidentally, as human physiology would have it, injecting oneself with a host of toxins potent enough to illicit a compensative inflammatory response doesn’t equate to a robust immune system. Creating cellular energy is the cofactor to adequate health. When our biological systems utilize energy to process an injection of damaging materials, therein lies a deficit, if you will.
The most brilliant aspect of our physiological makeup is our immune system, designed specifically to recognize and neutralize foreign invaders. All we have to do is provide it with enough vitamins and minerals to get the job done.
A well-supported immune system innately knows exactly how to operate. That being said, here are what I believe to be the most effective methods at overcoming the flu naturally for adults and children, based on both my personal and clinical experience:

Vitamin C appears to be the most ideal agent for killing any infectious virus. There are very few medical conditions or illnesses that are not improved to at least some degree by regular dosing of optimal amounts of vitamin C. In fact, over 1,200 scientific studies referenced in Thomas Levy’s book, Curing The Incurable, repeatedly demonstrate that vitamin C is clearly the most optimal choice to offset, and even eliminate, nearly any toxic chemical or substance capable of poisoning the body. Increased intermittent dosage throughout the day when combatting the flu seems ideal.
Elderberry syrup is comprised of antioxidants that tame inflammation and boost immune function. It is a safe, effective, and low cost treatment for influenza, clinically proven to reduce symptoms and exhibiting an inhibitory effect against influenza viruses as well as antimicrobial activity against pathogenic bacteria.
Protective minerals like magnesium, sodium, potassium, and those found in beef liver. The body views illness as a stressor and when our systems reside under undue stress protective minerals are depleted at rapid rates as a means of survival. Therefore replenishing said minerals when fighting a respiratory virus seems necessary for overcoming the illness more efficiently.
Coconut oil is a stable, digestible saturated fat that is resistant to oxidation and free radical formation. Consuming coconut oil while battling the flu can greatly reduce its inflammatory effects.
Boiron Oscillococcinum & Sinus Calm Boiron, founded in 1932, is the world leader in homeopathic medicines. Homeopathic remedies are designed to work with the gut to eliminate viral loads as opposed to against it, like antibiotics so famously do. I have been using Boiron products for myself, my husband, and our two boys for years with much success.

Elderberry As mentioned above, elderberry syrup is a clinically proven effective treatment for the flu. It is also gentle enough to work well with the physiology of a child. I give our boys elderberry syrup nightly for preventative purposes. When battling viruses like the flu, I increase their dose to twice daily.
Trace minerals Replenishing minerals when sick is equally as important for a child. Kids Multi liquid vitamin by Trace Minerals is the go-to in our household.
Coconut oil As mentioned above, coconut oil has strong anti-inflammatory effects. If given to children as young as 5 months old, it acts as a strong protector against any and all viruses, skin irritants, and even chronic bacterial infections. 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil daily is one of the most remarkable dietary components a child can incorporate. Proven by thousands of studies, it has the capacity to mitigate just about any childhood illness/disease.
Homepathic Remedies (Boiron & Hylands are my 2 favorite) I cannot express enough how profoundly effective homeopathic remedies are for a child. A medicine that supports their physiological makeup seems necessary to prevent further systemic damage. I have been using homepathics for our boys (ages 5 and 7) since they were infants, and neither of them have ever been on antibiotics. Oscillococcinum and Sinus Calm were the most efficient at mitigating the flu in our home.
The human body is innately intelligent; all we have to do is provide it what it needs.
