The Firehouse BBQ Appeal Moves Forward!

Friends, we can’t thank you enough for your incredible generosity!!

Thanks to you we have passed the first hurdle - the remaining balance of Danielle Bunch’s legal fees from the last three years has been paid!!

Special thanks to State Representative Danny McCormick who helped us reach this first momentous goal! Rep. McCormick has supported Danielle’s efforts to fight tyranny from the beginning so we want to thank him for his continued support!!

The appeal moves forward!

All money donated going forward will go towards the cost of holding the governor accountable in either the First Circuit court or the Louisiana Supreme Court, if it ends up there. And again, thanks to you, the initial filing fee of approximately $1,000 has a significant dent in it!!

As I shared in a social media post on Friday, if the judge’s decision stands and Governor Edwards’ actions in this case are covered under “qualified immunity,” he may never be held accountable for his other actions during the pandemic like:

• Lying about the safety and efficacy of masks and covid vaccines

• Masking kids in schools

• Crippling business

• Promoting and incentivizing an unsafe/untested drug

• Unethical and manipulative tactics to gain compliance for social distancing and closing businesses

And if JBE can’t be held responsible, no other state employee can be either.

This is a bellwether case and we thank you in advance for your continued support!
