Expanding Vaccinations Provided by Pharmacist: More access = Less safe

HB471 by Representative Barbara Frieberg removes some basic standards of medical care and does not consider the very real risks associated with vaccination by allowing pharmacists, pharmacy techs, and pharmacy interns to administer flu vaccinations to children as young as seven. • Most pharmacies are not equipped to treat life-threatening reactions like anaphylaxis

• Pharmacists do not have a family or medical history for the patient

• Removes medical care away from family physician to corner drug store

Please contact members of the House Health and Welfare Committee and ask them to vote NO on HB471 by Rep Barbara Frieberg.
