When informing parents and students about vaccination requirements, how will you ensure that your local school district informs parents of the exemption law, R.S. 17:170(E)? ANSWER: No child is required to get shot of any kind prior to attending schools. All shots are elective and decided upon by the parents.'

During the pandemic, unvaccinated school children were discriminated against when vaccination status was used to determine seating charts and quarantine policies. How will you ensure that discriminatory policies based on medical status are eliminated? ANSWER: We are fortunate in Louisiana to have parental rights trump any rules or pressure from outside regarding the medical care of their child.'
How are classroom teachers qualified to recommend medical procedures, including counseling, or pharmaceuticals to students outside of parental permission? ANSWER: They are not qualified to do anything but teach. That is the only thing they are certified to do.'
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is a manipulative tool to change beliefs and instigate change in behavior. We consider its use a violation of the first amendment and informed consent. How will you ensure that SEL is not used in your school district? ANSWER: We have already publically denounced SEL and CRT and we publish online our curriculum. We do encourage parents to monitor what is being supplimented in the classroom that we may not know about and report to the board.'
How will you ensure that parents are made aware of mental health issues that are displayed at school (suicidal thoughts, ect.)? ANSWER: Same as above - we must encourage students, parents, and guardians to speak to thier children about school work and report anything they feel is suspect.'

ANSWER: One option is to have parents sign a paper acknowledging. They read the paper stating that any and all children and their parents have the right to opt out.'

ANSWER: Collectively we will put in place a policy where no school employee will be allowed to ask any question concerning vaccination status on any vaccine'
How are classroom teachers qualified to recommend medical procedures, including counseling, or pharmaceuticals to students outside of parental permission? ANSWER: They are not medical personnel therefore no school employee should discuss any medical procedure with any student'

ANSWER: Again collectively we will do our best to put into policy where no school board employee will be allowed to discuss any medical procedure with any student without parental knowledge'

ANSWER: I would like to see parents take an interest in what goes on in the schools again. If a student is having behavior issues and or suicidal thoughts all school employees this student confiding in has a moral and professional responsibility to contact their students parents immediately.'

That path was not used during covid. Everything that was done was to obtain total control of the people.'

How will you ensure that discriminatory policies based on medical status are eliminated? ANSWER: Vaccine status is private information and would not be used in any decision making process. If necessary, I would write a specific policy to address this concern.'

ANSWER: I would partner with teachers, parents, and advocacy groups to keep a watchful eye on our curriculum and swiftly remove anything that includes sel, crt, or gender ideology.
I would create an anonymous reporting system for teachers so they could voice their concerns to the board without fear of retaliation from the administration.'

ANSWER: Policy would clearly state that parents are to be notified immediately of mental health concerns regarding their children. Staff members ignoring this direction would quickly be held accountable.'

ANSWER: I would like to make it a policy that all district schools provide this information to every parent and student for full disclosure and transparency.'

ANSWER: Absolutely not! I’ve observed too much special interest corruption within these groups, not to mention incompetence.'
Children with an allergy to an ingredient may not be able to receive a vaccine. What risk do these children pose to other children or adults who are vaccinated? ANSWER: Either vaccines work or they don’t not. If they are safe and effective then there is no risk.'

How will you ensure that discriminatory policies based on medical status are eliminated? ANSWER: This is a battle that I’m willing to engage in. There needs to be full transparency regarding this topic. Every day that passes, more information regarding the masking, lockdowns, and vaccines are surfacing.'

ANSWER: Very simple… that are not qualified to make these recommendations nor teach any of the indoctrination that the federal agencies are trying to infiltrate the education system with.'

How will you ensure that SEL is not used in your school district? ANSWER: Who’s qualified to implement this in the schools. I’ve been an educator for the past 29 years and have no qualifications to teach this. I don’t believe that any indoctrination should be in schools. The public needs to be made aware of these policies. It will take the public to stand against this. I will definitely be making them aware of any controversial issues if I’m elected.'

ANSWER: Individual schools have a variety of methods to provide information to parents. I believe that there needs to be policies in place to provide this information as well to parents directly from the schools. Full transparency!'

ANSWER: No. I believe parents should be informed of the danger as well as the possible consequences. But the parents should make the final decision.'
Children with an allergy to an ingredient may not be able to receive a vaccine. What risk do these children pose to other children or adults who are vaccinated? ANSWER: With the exception of chicken pox around pregnant women, I can't think of any other risk. However, most adults have either had chicken pox or are immune to it. Also, most pregnant women are on prenatal vitamins which makes them less susceptible to contract the virus.'

How will you ensure that discriminatory policies based on medical status are eliminated? ANSWER: I will continue to be a voice against discrimination based on vaccination status. In 2021, I was vocal at the school board and at the state capitol on this issue.'

If found, I will speak up in opposition at school board meetings.'

ANSWER: It’s a rather simple concept. The law is specific in its language, so it’s imperative as a school board member to ensure those parents understand the intent and language of their right as parents to abstain from mandates, should they choose to do so.'

Children with an allergy to an ingredient may not be able to receive a vaccine. What risk do these children pose to other children or adults who are vaccinated? ANSWER: I don’t think they pose any risk to children other than normal association with other issues, such as a cold of flu.'

This is something between a child, their parents and their medical professionals.'

How will you ensure that SEL is not used in your school district? ANSWER: I think social manipulation of children had zero business in the classroom. Our teachers are to teach reading, writing and mathematics and develop those skills as the child goes along. My response will be to address those issues immediately when brought to light and ensure policy and procedure is followed pertaining to what teachers are expected to do and what they will not be allowed to do. Should this be a recurring problem, it will be my position to have this teacher removed when possible.'

ANSWER: I’m not a trained mental health professional, however for the safety of the schools it is imperative we have those in the system who are, in order to address those issues.'

We do not turn over our rights and responsibilities as a parent to the government when we send our children to a public school. PARENTS are in control of their households and know their children and their needs best.'

As the Louisiana oath of office demands, will you support this law? ANSWER: I encourage parents to know their rights and part of that is giving information about vaccine exemptions. I don’t even encourage use of the LDH form because there is unnecessarily restrictive language in the document. A handwritten note is legal and effective. We (as parents) should stop letting the government tell us how to do things we can do for ourselves!'
When informing parents and students about vaccination requirements, how will you ensure that your local school district informs parents of the exemption law, R.S. 17:170(E)? ANSWER: I was mortified by the testimony at the Capitol and the resulting vote to make COVID vaccine “mandatory”. In response, I worked hard to persuade other board members to come to the conclusion that it was our obligation to remind parents of students in our system that in Louisiana exemption was a reasonable and acceptable solution. My board agreed to send out reminders via robo call to our parents, and also sent text messages. Finally, exemption information was added to our Central Community School System website.'

ANSWER: The Louisiana Constitution clearly states that local school boards had this authority all along.'

ANSWER: Loopholes and broad discretion allowed by Superintendents or their designer need to be tightened up and this issue needs be be addressed in precise language that the practices will not be tolerated.'

How will you ensure that SEL is not used in your school district? ANSWER: Very specific language should be used to prohibit SEL from being used in our school system. The problem is the vagueness in most system handbooks is intentional, and that needs to change.'

ANSWER: Communication is key, and guidance should be provided to those working in our schools that protect and support our staff. Our teachers should be able to freely communicate with parents about all mental health issues including suicidal thoughts, bullying issues, fighting, gender confusion. Teachers and Administrators should never feel afraid to speak with parents and should have precise guidelines to deal with broaching these issues with parents, especially the distraction of pronoun usage and gender confusion.'

We will set polices and rules to protect any child,parent,teacher or staff from being discriminated against. I will not allow the cdc, ldh or governor to tell us what we have to force our kids to do. That is the parents choice and is how it will be.'

Ideally, an actual certified counselor employed by the school or by a mental health facility (one partnered w the school system) would contact said parent‚ if the child is theirs.'

Declining vaccines for any reason is our right to exercise over our own sovereign bodies as adults and for our children. If vaccines truly stop transmission of infection, then the vaccinated have nothing to fear from being in proximity to the unvaccinated.

This ostracization and marginalizing of children borders on abuse in my estimation.

The data mining of students, via surveys and screenings, is also a large part of SEL. I would inform other board members who are, hopefully, open to learning about SEL and its agenda so that it is opposed and voted down in our parish.
