Friends, if we are going to make America healthy again, we have work to do!
On Wednesday, January 29th, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s confirmation hearing begins in front of the Senate Finance Committee!
Senator Bill Cassidy is on this committee and we understand he intends to vote no. Senator Cassidy is already on thin ice with Louisiana voters after voting to impeach Trump in 2021. Health freedom advocates will remember that during covid he also justified immunity registries by referring to the state’s vaccine exemption law, saying people who are registered will have “freer access to the economy.”
Let's keep these points in mind when we head to the polls to vote for our next U.S. Senator in 2026. But for today, we still need Cassidy to vote YES for RFK Jr.'s appointment.
Contact Senator Cassidy and kindly tell him you support RFK Jr.’s appointment to Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Call Senator Bill Cassidy at (225) 929-7711 or his DC office at (202) 224-5824. Give your name and parish of residence and tell them you support RFK Jr.’s appointment to Secretary of HHS.
You can also submit public comment to the committee here: Statementsfortherecord@finance.senate.gov
Join thousands of other Louisiana advocates by contacting Senator Cassidy and Senator John Kennedy through Stand for Health Freedom’s powerful advocacy campaign, Stand With RFK Jr. The full Senate, including Senator John Kennedy, will vote on RFK Jr.’s appointment after the committee hearings.
Watch the Finance Committee hearing on Wednesday, January 29th at 9:00 am CST at this link: Hearing to consider the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., of California, to be Secretary of Health and Human Services
There will also be an informal hearing on January 30th in front of the HELP Committee — Cassidy is also on this committee so we truly appreciate you taking the time to contact him and share your support!
Why do Senate committee hearings matter? According to The Heritage Foundation:
A committee has three options in voting to send a nomination to the full Senate: Report it favorably, unfavorably, or without recommendation. But the committee may decline to act at several points—after it receives the nomination, after it investigates, or after it holds hearings. If the committee doesn’t act, in some cases the Senate may still bring the nomination to the floor for a vote.

Thank you for taking action today to help #ConfirmRFKJr!
