On the Anniversary of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is Named the Next Secretary of Health and Human Services
Beautiful and sweet poetic justice.
What a time to be alive!
We have not missed the incredible paradox that on the anniversary of the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA), President Donald J. Trump announces his pick for the next Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) - none other than Robert F. Kennedy Jr. If you are a long-time member of the health freedom community, you understand the monumental significance of this announcement. For decades now, Kennedy has challenged the recommendations and assertions made by every agency governed by HHS: the NIH, FDA, and CDC. Despite intense attacks on his character and great personal sacrifice - members of his own family have turned against him publicly - he has fought against regulatory capture, industry interests, fraud, corruption, and scientific dogma that saturate those agencies. Much of the fraud, corruption, and revolving door between government and pharma is enabled by the NCVIA and the shield it provides to pharmaceutical companies—an industry that government agencies are supposed to regulate.
Today, the end of the corruption made possible by NCVIA is nearer than ever before.
Interestingly enough five years ago today, Health Freedom Louisiana Co-Directors Jill Hines and Fiorella Trapani, along with HFL Team Member Abi Licatino, were in Washington, D.C. for V.I.E (Vaccine Injury Epidemic), an event acknowledging adverse effects, injuries, and deaths from vaccines. There were 3,000 people in attendance, including state health freedom group leaders from across the country. We took advantage of the trip to also schedule a day of advocacy on the Hill. While in D.C., we discovered that Donald Trump Jr. would be blocks away at Trump International for his book signing. We decided to seize the opportunity to ask Mr. Trump to intercede on behalf of vaccine-injured families and plead with his father, then President Donald Trump, to convene the promised vaccine safety commission. As we were standing in line waiting for out turn to have our books signed, a Washington Post journalist overheard our conversation about our plans and asked Jill for an impromptu interview. The article he subsequently published describes a note we wrote using a purple pen and the only stationery we had on us at the time. You can spot the note peeking out of Jill’s purse in the photo below.
Days after we slipped that note to Mr. Trump, whispers of a new illness in China were heard. Months later, none of our lives would ever be the same again. After nearly forty years of the NCVIA, the public psyche—trained to believe that "vaccines save lives"—was manipulated, coerced, and deceived into trading freedom for the promise of a life-saving vaccine.
What incredible poetic justice that, five years later, after enduring perhaps the most catastrophic man-made event in human history—the covid pandemic—Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will convene a team that will undoubtedly thoroughly review vaccine “safety.”
The NCVIA has had almost four decades to wreak havoc on our children’s health. That’s four decades too long. The only way to truly make America healthy again is to dismantle the stranglehold NCVIA has on America’s citizens, our children, and federal health agencies.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is the only man for that job.
Congratulations, Mr. Secretary!
