Itโs the last full week of the legislative session and we are down to the wire on these bills. . .
In 2020, Rep Danny McCormick carried this legislation (HB13) and it died in House Health and Welfare when committee members stated they were concerned that should it pass, parents would submit exemptions. Two years ago, Rep Kathy Edmonston carried this legislation and it had the same bill number: HB47. That year, 2022, the Senate failed to call this legislation and it died without receiving a final vote. Last year, this same legislation, HB399 by Rep Edmonston, died in the veto override session after two senators flipped their vote from the regular session and voted against it. We think it had something to do with a nefarious/idiotic email they received stating Jill and HFL were negatively targeting them on social media, when in fact we were asking followers to THANK THEM.
Is this the year HB47 by Rep Edmonston will pass and parents and students will finally be informed of their right under the law to โdissentโ from providing vaccination information? Last week, the Senate danced around HB47 for days without calling it for a vote.
Itโs time to pass this bill! Contact your state senator NOW and ask them to vote YES on HB47!
Senate shenanigans sent HB467 to Finance Committee last week for a fiscal note and quite possibly to kill it. Rep Kim Coates has been diligently working the phones to get this bill back on the Senate floor for a vote before sine die!
Help Rep Coates out by contacting your state senator and asking them to vote YES on HB467, to legalize the sale of uncooked, unprocessed, fresh, 100% natural milk.
Rep Chuck Owenโs determined efforts to secure patient access to visitation while hospitalized has one last hurdle โ a Senate floor vote which should occur before the end of the week.
Contact your state senator and ask them to vote YES on HB976!
As the vote on the WHOโs international health regulations are still underway, make sure you are watching our friends at Stand for Health Freedom for all the latest updates! There has been much conjecture because one vote has fallen through, but itโs not over till itโs over, and itโs not over.
