On Friday, August 23, the health freedom community heard the news we have been waiting for. To prevent his candidacy from providing a Harris win in swing states, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that he is suspending his campaign, taking his name off the ballot in swing states, and joining forces with President Donald Trump to “reverse the chronic disease epidemic” and “unify America.” Listen to the inspiring speech below.
Health Freedom Louisiana issued this statement following the announcement:
There is only one option this election cycle that will not lead our country to ruin. We firmly support a united effort by President Donald Trump and Robert F Kennedy Jr. to preserve our Republic and protect our freedoms. Industry capture of our federal health agencies has compromised the health of generations of Americans and provided a means to de-stabilize the security of our country during Covid. Mr. Kennedy is capable of draining that swamp. Our children’s health and the security and stability of our country depend on a future free from any threat of medical tyranny.
Health freedom should not be a partisan issue but it is an unfortunate reality. A Harris presidency would only further decimate our children’s prospects.
We are extremely encouraged by Mr. Kennedy’s announcement today. Here in Louisiana, we have seen much progress since Governor Jeff Landry took office, even securing a law that prohibits discrimination in schools based on a student’s vaccination status. We are now hopeful that with the opportunity afforded Mr. Kennedy with a Trump win, that the well-being of our children and the security of our nation will come to fruition.
