It’s not over!
Friends, yesterday was an incredible day—Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s nomination for Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services passed through the Finance Committee with a tight 14-13 vote!
Thank you so much for your incredible advocacy!!!
As you are likely aware, Senator Bill Cassidy voted yes, but it wasn’t without considerable pressure from all sides. Even Vice President JD Vance got involved in the negotiations over the weekend.
As you can imagine, Senator Bill Cassidy is under tremendous pressure from those who opposed Kennedy’s nomination. They have not given up and we shouldn’t either — we have one more vote to go! That vote should take place in the coming days — we will let you know as soon as we have a date!
Please continue to email and call Cassidy’s offices. Information is below.
Call Senator Bill Cassidy at (225) 929-7711 and the DC office at (202) 224-5824.
