In case you missed HFL’s countdown to John Bel Edwards’ last day in office, we want to make sure these moments, in particular, of these last four years are never forgotten.
On December 29, 2023 we began a countdown on social media that looked like this:
Let us never forget the LAST four years. The NEXT four years, we have to keep HEALTH FREEDOM in front of our neighbors, the legislature, and Landry.
Never forget. Never again.
NINE DAYS LEFT with this tyrant!!!
Gov. John Bel Edwards and his incompetent Louisiana Department of Health have caused incredible harm by just this one act: denying informed consent. They did it REPEATEDLY for every mitigation intervention.
We must demand truth and accountability. Of utmost importance, this must never happen again.
Everybody’s counting down till New Years and I’m counting down the days till Gov. John Bel Edwards is out of office!
Never forget JBE’s mask mandate violated constitutionally protected rights, not the least of which is religious freedom. The government cannot compel you to violate your strongly-held beliefs. SCOTUS acknowledged this in Jacobson v MA in 1905 when Jacobson was NOT required to get vaccinated even though the state of MA had mandated it.
If the state can compel you (by way of removal of access to public accommodations, education, employment, etc) to undergo a medical procedure for the greater good, your body is owned by the state and you are no longer free. The state of Louisiana acknowledges this with its vaccine exemption law: individuals can simply opt out.
This mandate, for both adults and children, for which there was ZERO studies for either efficacy or SAFETY, relegates Edwards to a notorious list of tyrants who conducted medical experiments on the citizens he was elected to serve. Mask use for the purpose of mitigating Covid is STILL under EUA, meaning it is experimental for the purpose intended.
Never forget this tyrant’s actions and the harm it caused to the individual and to society.
Only seven more days of this tyrant in the governor’s seat. While Gov. John Bel Edwards insisted he was honorable, his actions proved otherwise.
One of his more egregious acts was authorizing a vaccine lottery with over a million dollars in prizes to entice people to take an experimental drug.
And he included minors.
By the time the vaccine lottery was launched, Louisiana Department of Health was already aware of an increased risk of myocarditis associated with the mRNA vaccines.
This incredibly vile enterprise violates the most basic element of medical ethics and human rights which states “the VOLUNTARY consent of the human subject is absolutely essential.” A million dollars in prizes is extremely coercive.
We’re down to SIX days with Gov. John Bel Edwards in the governor’s seat!! Not even a week but it feels like forever.
Paying parents to give their child an experimental vaccine and using SANTA to do it has to be one of the most despicable things Edwards and his Louisiana Department of Health did during Covid.
As we stated in a letter to the legislature addressing this, the possibilities for abuse were endless. How many children were vaccinated repeatedly while these shots were administered in malls and grocery stores - outside of the clinical setting and away from required life saving equipment.
Again, incentivizing a medical experiment violates the most basic of medical ethics and human rights. I would bet that no parent was made aware that these drugs are experimental.
There MUST be accountability so that these human rights violations never happen again.
The worst governor in Louisiana’s history has only FIVE DAYS left in office.
Never forget that after only two months on the market and with NO clinical trial that included pregnant women, Gov. John Bel Edwards and Louisiana Department of Health encouraged pregnant “persons” to get an experimental covid vaccine.
This is tantamount to MEDICAL EXPERIMENTATION on pregnant women and their unborn babies. There is simply no excuse for this unbelievable violation of medical ethics.
There MUST be accountability.
PS: You have to be an absolute MORON to suggest anything other than a WOMAN can become pregnant. Any healthcare professional suggesting a “person” can become pregnant has ZERO business in public health or public office.

Never forget that Gov. John Bel Edwards used every loophole possible to bypass the will of the people to add the Covid vaccine to the required list for school attendance back in 2021:
• the public was NEVER made aware during the daily press conferences that the administrative process had begun to add the vaccine to the schedule
• JBE vetoed the legislative committee’s vote, a process which has no override
• RINOs in JBE’s pocket (Fred Mills and Rogers Pope) killed the bill that would suspend the rule change
Only intense parental backlash, national news attention, and the threat of public humiliation convinced JBE to back off.
As was the case all along, the #TinyTyrant knows what’s best for you and your children. Just let him be the parent and the physician.

Never forget how Edwards intended to deceive parents by VETOING a bill that would require schools to inform parents and student of the state’s exemption law. His argument for adding the Covid shot to the school schedule was the state’s “liberal exemption,” but the entire time he schemed to keep that information away from parents.
Edwards’ vetoes indicate a disregard for the safety of children, including the veto of HB648 which would protect children from medical experimentation known as “gender affirming care.”

Two more days, y’all! Gov. John Bel Edwards sits in the governor’s seat till Monday (per the constitution) so the countdown continues.
The many false and misleading claims made by JBE and LDH regarding the Covid vaccines not only violated the terms of the EUAs, but they violated medical ethics and human rights.
Louisianans deserve informed consent and they were denied just that for FOUR YEARS.
Now the next administration is left the task of righting these unbelievable wrongs, including informing our fellow citizens how unsafe and ineffective the drugs actually are.

Never forget the crimes against humanity this man and his staff have perpetrated against the citizens of this state. In a time when informed consent was absolutely vital, Louisianans were manipulated and coerced by deceitful messaging and lies of omission.
Perhaps the most egregious act Edwards and LDH committed was the use of Covid death statistics to promote Covid vaccination while NEVER revealing that fully-vaccinated people were DYING OF COVID.
A public records request revealed that over 3,000 fully-vaccinated Louisianans, each having received multiple Covid vaccines, still died of Covid - and are included in the number in the graphic below USED to unethically coerce uptake of a Covid vaccine.
Did this just happen once? No, it was a regular occurrence. How long did they know that Covid vaccines do not protect against Covid death? That is one question that MUST be answered by either the next governor or the next legislature.
History will not be kind to zealots like Edwards and those at LDH who continually violated medical ethics, human rights, and just common decency in their efforts to rule our lives through deception.
