Recently, we introduced our list of legislators we consider CHAMPIONS of health freedom.
Today, we want you to meet individuals who have fought alongside us for the last several years and have taken the heroic step of initiating effective statutory change by running for a seat in the Louisiana Legislature.
As early voting commences on September 30th, please consider offering your support NOW to these candidates. Financial suppport is always welcome as is volunteering for phone banks and knocking on doors!
Jamie Marie Pope deserves special recognition for her tremendous effort to hold State Representative Clay Schexnayder accountable for his treachery and ineptitude during his tenure as Speaker of the House. Jamie took charge of the Schexnayder recall effort and was instrumental in finally securing a legislative petition to end the governor’s public health emergency with the pressure from the recall campaign. Her efforts were so effective that when Jamie later became the Baton Rouge director for Citizens for a New Louisiana, Schexnayder had her journalist’s credentials revoked in an act of petty revenge.

Kellie Alford has been an advocate for her community from the very beginning of the pandemic. As a small business owner, she undertands the significance of forced and unconstitutional business closures. Kellie is a mother and a grandmother, so mandates that harm children and infringe on parental rights motivated her to run for State Representative in House District 64 to ensure it never happens again.

Hollis “Bubbe” Day is unapologetically patriotic and we couldn’t love him more for it! He has been an outspoken opponent of shutdowns and mandates on his radio show (federal regulations require that he not be on the radio during campaign season) and has been at the Capitol in support of legislation to protect children from medical harm. One of Hollis’ goals if elected is to restrict the governor’s power during a declared public health emergency so that tyranny like Edwards’ never happens again!

David Eaton is not new to public office having served locally and effectively on the Bayou Vermillion District Board of Commissioners. Now, he is ready to serve his community as State Representative in House District 49. A father to three young children, David is prepared to protect them and all Louisianans from the incredible government overreach we experienced as a result of the government’s response to covid.

Jamie, Kellie, Hollis, and David have signed The Medical Liberty Pledge authored by civil rights attorney, Aaron Siri. The pledge states:
I hereby pledge that as an elected official I will oppose any government action and repeal/veto any law that would coerce or require any American to acquiesce to a medical product or procedure.
