The absolute BEST gift you can give your children this Christmas season is an investment in FREEDOM in Louisiana.
On this Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to the patriots on the list below. We TRUST these legislators because they have fought for health freedom during the 2020-2022 legislative sessions.
(Click on their names for donation links.)
State Rep. Beryl Amedee Houma, District 51
Rep Amedee has proven time and again that she truly cares about the right to bodily autonomy. In 2022 she carried our favorite legislation, a bill which would ensure informed consent and a right to refuse a drug with a liability shield which prevents the consumer from suing for injury or death.
State Rep. Kathy Edmonston Gonzales, District 88
Rep Edmonston has fought for years for informed consent for Louisiana parents and students. She is determined to ensure that the vaccine exemption law is made known to parents and students alike to ensure that no one is coerced into an unwanted or unneeded medical intervention.
State Rep. Danny McCormick Oil City, District 1
Rep McCormick has fought against tyranny from day one! In 2022, he carried an extremely popular bill amongst health freedom and education advocates alike: it would prohibit the marketing of pharmaceuticals to minors by state agencies, including schools. In 2020, Rep McCormick was the first state legislator to introduce legislation to prohibit a covid vaccine mandate - a measure that was voted down by the House Health and Welfare Cmt. as a "solution in search of an answer."
State Rep. Raymond Crews Bossier City, District 8
Rep Crews has shown a fearless tendency to go to battle with Louisiana Department of Health. In 2022, he carried legislation that would require a thorough evaluation of LDH's covid response and we are sure he will not give up until it is done. Rep Crews' coroner bill requires coroners to file a VAERS report if a patient dies following receipt of a vaccine. We are hopeful this will pass in the future.
State Rep. Mike Echols Monroe, District 14
Rep Echols is another legislator we love to watch spar with the Louisiana Department of Health. In 2022, he carried legislation that would protect a physicians' right to prescribe needed medications and legislation that would prohibit discrimination in the workplace based on vaccination status.
State Rep. Chuck Owen Rosepine, District 30
Rep Owen carried a human rights bill in 2022 that we wholeheartedly supported - it would require humane treatment at end of life care. Rep Owen has agreed to carry the No Patient Left Alone Act in 2023, ensuring that no patient is forced to be alone while under medical care.
State Rep. Larry Frieman Abita Springs, District 74
Rep Frieman introduced legislation that would provide a means for a patient advocate to administer needed medication if it was being denied by a hospital. For several years now, Rep Frieman has introduced much needed legislation to rein in executive powers during an emergency.
Rep Larry Bagley Stonewall, District 7
Rep Bagley introduced legislation that caused the governor to threaten the withholding of funding for his district for two years: HCR3 suspends the Louisiana Department of Health rule change that added the COVID-19 vaccination to the list of required shots for school attendance starting in November of 2022.
State Rep. Valarie Hodges Denham Springs, District 64
Rep Hodges carried legislation that would prohibit local municipalities from implementing vaccine passports AND legislation that would prohibit banks from implementing discriminatory standards based on environmental, social, and governance standards (ESG).
State Rep. Dodie Horton Haughton, District 9
Rep. Horton introduced legislation to protect school children from “groomers” in the classroom by introducing legislation that would prohibit instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity.
State Rep. Mark Wright Covington, District 77
Rep Wright introduced legislation that would require vaccines developed with aborted fetal cells to be labeled - an incredibly useful educational tool for everyone. We appreciate Rep Wright allowing us to offer insights on this legislation.
Senator Stewart Cathey Monroe, District 33
Senator Cathey introduced legislation to prohibit workplace discrimination based on vaccination status and legislation that would provide free speech protection to medical professionals who have been silenced by licensing and medical boards.
Senator Mike Fesi Houma, District 20
Senator Fesi introduced several pieces of legislation to protect Louisianans against discrimination or denial of healthcare based on vaccination status. Considering the nightmare scenarios of organ transplant patients being denied lifesaving surgery because of vaccination status this is much needed legislation.
Senator Jay Morris, Monroe, District 35
Senator Morris successfully passed legislation preventing discrimination in insurance based on vaccination status. Governor Edwards vetoed his legislation.
Note: all legislation passed by these HEROES was VETOED by one of the worst governors in America - John Bel Edwards.
We look forward to 2024 and a new governor in Louisiana!
Attorney General Jeff Landry
Attorney General Landry is our choice for Governor of Louisiana!
AG Landry has been on the forefront of lawsuits defending Louisianans from unconstitutional vaccine mandates, mask mandates for toddlers in the Head Start program, and censorship by the federal government.
AG Landry was instrumental in bringing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Robert Malone to the Capitol to argue against Governor Edwards’ insane initiative to add the covid shot to the required list for school attendance.
Solicitor General Liz Murrill
Solicitor General Murrill is our choice for Louisiana’s next Attorney General!
Ms. Murrill’s son experienced myocarditis following covid vaccination and she has since been an incredible advocate for the vaccine injured, including testifying before the legislature on the failings of the VAERS system and the need for reform.
Ms. Murrill has made herself available to answer urgent questions from attorneys regarding vaccine mandates for students and employees. Her concern for the rights of the individual is evident in her proactive efforts to prohibit mandates.
These heroes need our support too:
Jamie Marie Pope
Jamie is our choice for State Rep District 65 in 2023!
Jamie makes the Capitol her home during the legislative session as a watchdog for Citizens for a New Louisiana. She plans to make the move (somewhat) permanent next year when she runs for State Representative for District 65.
Ryan Thames
Ryan has defended the hearts and minds of the children in his community by standing against those in the library system who wish to include inappropriate material in the children’s section of the library.
Ryan has had to defend himself twice against frivolous lawsuits - both of which were thrown out by the judge. Please donate to help him offset his legal fees!
great job putting this together
