The Veto Session is a GO!

Hopefully you have seen the news by now that the Veto Session is scheduled to convene on Tuesday, July 18th at 12:00 pm. The last time the legislature convened for a Veto Session in 2021, one bill was voted on, failed to pass, and then the legislature adjourned. We need people to SHOW UP on Tuesday and make sure the legislature knows we are watching!
The flagship bill, HB648 by Rep Gabe Firment, is taking center stage and rightly so. In just the last 48 hours, more damning information on this incredibly harmful experimental intervention known ironically as “gender affirming care,” has been shared by the Wall Street Journal and Project Veritas. Louisiana, with a Republican majority in both chambers of the legislature, would undoubtably be an outlier by failing to pass a bill to protect minors from this horrific and inhumane treatment.
But to leave the Capitol without considering other valuable bills passed during the regular session is a waste of taxpayer money and in opposition to the will of the people.

Contact your legislators NOW and ask them to support other vital health freedom legislation:
OVERRIDE! HB182 by Rep Kathy Edmonston – No COVID vaccine coercion in schools
OVERRIDE! HB399 by Rep Kathy Edmonston – Schools must provide vaccine exemption information
OVERRIDE! HB415 by Rep Beryl Amedee – NO CBDC in Louisiana

Then SHOW UP on Tuesday, July 18th at the Capitol to let your legislators know YOU ARE WATCHING! The override session is scheduled to convene at noon, so arrive early to accommodate for parking and getting in to the building.
