1. END the covid vaccine military mandate (NDAA):
The US Senate has the opportunity to end the covid vaccine mandate imposed on our military men and women with a vote on an amendment to National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
Senate Republicans issued a letter to Senate leaders stating:
We oppose invoking cloture on the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023, unless the Senate votes on a single amendment to (1) prohibit the involuntary separation of a member of the Armed Forces based solely on a service members COVID-19 vaccination status and to 2) reinstate those who may have already been separated with back pay.
Two Senate Republican signatures noticeably absent from the letter are LOUISIANA Senators John Kennedy and Bill Cassidy. Why did they not sign this letter protecting our military personnel from a covid vaccine mandate?

2. Oppose the Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JCPA).

It is VERY concerning that Senator John Kennedy is the lead Republican co-sponsor of JCPA! What is he thinking?!?
