Are you running for public office in 2023?
It is very important that you understand that, if elected, the foundational tenet of the purpose of your new role is defined in the Louisiana Constitution:
§1. Origin and Purpose of Government
Section 1. All government, of right, originates with the people, is founded on their will alone, and is instituted to protect the rights of the individual and for the good of the whole. Its only legitimate ends are to secure justice for all, preserve peace, protect the rights, and promote the happiness and general welfare of the people. The rights enumerated in this Article are inalienable by the state and shall be preserved inviolate by the state.
Whether school board member or governor, if elected, you will swear to uphold this foundational tenet, the very origin and purpose of government: protect the rights of the individual. For the last three and a half years, the vast majority of our elected officials failed to “protect the rights of the individual” and it has cost us dearly. While there are many issues that concern voters going to the poll this year, our greatest concern is the theft of freedom and security that took place under the guise of safety from a virus while our legislature stood by and watched. Understandably, health freedom is our priority and feel it should be yours, as well.
We have partnered again with our friends at Stand for Health Freedom to create a voter guide specific to Louisiana. Aaron Siri, the legal genius behind the Informed Consent Action Network, has drafted a simple yet succinct medical liberty pledge. We will utilize all answers, as well as, any voting record or acts in office to help provide a clear choice in each race.
If you are a candidate for public office, please take the survey and sign the medical liberty pledge found here:
We are often asked, “How can I get involved?” Send this article with the survey and the pledge to candidates in your local races. With hundreds of candidates across the state, we need your help in reaching all of them! We want to know each candidate’s opinion on health freedom so we can provide an accurate guide for races across the state.
Thank you in advance for helping us get this survey in the hands of local candidates for public office.
